Non Stop Speeding

I am located in East Texas, I use Interstate 20 from Tyler, Texas to Dallas, Texas allot. I have noticed that there has been an up surge in speeding or going over the speed limit even sense my last post on this matter. The people that are going just five miles an hour over the speed limit do not know that they are putting everyone around them on the highway in danger of being in a car accident and then possibly being killed or killing someone else. Please slow down to the legal speed limit people, for me, you and that that car with that family.

Speed Limits

I drive the speed limit. I get passed a whole lot too. Is it just that everyone elses speedometer is set higher than mine? Sometimes being on the highway, it is down right scary the way some people drive.

Watch For Stop Signs

Hey folks, I always stop at stop signs and stop lights, do you? I can not lie and say that I have not ever ran a stop sign or just missed the yellow light when I have, but I have for the most part of my driving career have stopped at the stop signs or stop lights. Well, not everyone is like me or you, lots of people run those stop signs and stop lights, and sometimes they do not even look. That is because these people have been in the habit of running stop signs and lights and the habit forces them to go on their way sometime oblivious to traffic coming toward them at 60 - 70 miles per hour.

I can't tell you how many times that I have seen a person pull their car out in front of traffic without caring for the well being of the other people in the vehicles coming toward them. This disgusts me, for my sake and it disgusts me for your sake. People please be careful and stop at the stop signs and stop lights, someone from my family may be heading toward that road that you may be pulling your car off of.

Minneapolis | St. Paul - Mississippi River Bridge Collapse

The entire 35 West bridge has collapsed that spanned over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis and St. Paul at the height of rush hour traffic. A tractor trailer was engulfed in flames. There is some sort of school bus, some crushed cars and other automobiles are under water. Rescuers helped collapse victims to safety, so far 30 - 60 are injured, atleast 6 deaths.

A collapse victim says traffic was moving at about ten miles an hour, and said the bridge just started shaking and then the bridge collapsed. Official say that the reason for the collapse was more than likely an engineering issue. However the cause of the bridge collapse is under investigation. The Federal Bureau of Investigations are on hand to investigate the cause of the collapse of the 35 west bridge spanning the Misiissippi River in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Speed Limit Cameras

Are you ready to receive a speeding ticket through the mail? Speed cameras are taken for a road test in Texas. Say you get into your car and drive onto I-20, and a camera takes a picture of your car as you enter onto the highway, then twenty miles down the highway another camera takes your picture and uses both images to figure an average of the speed you had gone in between the two cameras with a two mile an hour (faster or slower) error factor.
