Joe Paterno was indeed a well known man who had spread his wisdom and skills through-out the world. Everywhere in sports are signs of his presence. This is shown in players, teachers, coaches and average individuals. Joe Paterno’s life was mostly spent in the sports spot light, he is a part of how we think about, how we watch, what we’ve heard and how the game is played. Other than the suspected neglect of criminal sexual activity by a staff member at the end of his life, Joe Paterno will be remembered for a very long time for the scores of NFL players and ALUMNI he once coached in the game of college football. Mr. Paterno was never convicted of any crimes, however he had been suspected of neglect which is punishable by law. Joe Paterno was a magnificent coach and a loyal husband right up to the end. When Tom Landry was fired from being Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys, it seemed that part of the NFL died. Then Joe Paterno was fired, then it seemed part of college football died. When both Tom Landry and Joe Paterno died, it hit us hardest. Both obviously died of broken hearts, because they loved the game and it was more or less all they knew in life.
