Marco Rubio: A Bad Iran Deal

By now, you’ve probably heard about President Obama’s latest “deal” with Iran. I have said from the beginning of this process that I would not support a deal with Iran that allows the mullahs to retain the ability to develop nuclear weapons, threaten Israel, and continue their regional expansionism and support for terrorism.

Based on what we know thus far, I believe that this deal undermines our national security.

That’s why I’m leading the charge in Washington to stop this deal. This one-sided deal, let me know if you agree with me that this is a bad deal for America.

I also wrote Secretary of State John Kerry to express my disappointment that the negotiations did not secure the unconditional release of Americans currently being held captive by Iran.

It’s clear, as details continue to emerge, that this is more about President Obama’s legacy and presidential library, than about protecting the security of the United States and our ally, Israel.
